On a recent trip to Kansas City, Missouri, we visited the National World War I Museum. This first-class museum provides an in-depth look at the Great War and the impact it had throughout the world.
The museum seeks to honor the telling of this event by honoring the men, women, and children who endured the atrocities of war. Not only do you gain military perspective, you gain insight into the great injustices that lead to war, the physical and emotional fortitude it took to fight in the trenches, and the impact on ordinary men and women striving for a better life.
It is a humbling journey. Lest We Forget.
