Camp Sherman

Chillicothe, Ross Co., Ohio


Built in September 1917, Camp Sherman was designed to accommodate 42,000 soldiers training for the American Expeditionary Forces. By the war’s end Camp Sherman had trained roughly 124,500 soldiers.
