A Tenth Army Christmas Dinner, 1944

Here’s a glimpse at the Christmas dinner menu enjoyed by the Tenth Army headquartered at Schofield Barracks on Oahu, Hawaii on Christmas Day of 1944.

A Merrie Merrie Christmas || Menu: Soup, Apple – Celery Salad, Roast Turkey, Cranberry Sauce, Giblet Gravy, Candied Sweets, Buttered Peas, Creamed Corn, Sweet Pickles, Ripe Olives, Hot Rolls, Petits Fours, Coffee & Lemonade, and Cigars

See anything to add to your menu this year? Personally, we like that they were sure to include the cigars.

You can see what the Tenth Army’s 1944 Thanksgiving Menu looked like here.
